Default Computer/NIC question

Am I at a disadvantage if I have a wireless USB adapater vs a regular internal wireless NIC?

if your adapter is g and 2.0, and the router is g, you probably wont notice a difference in speeds. there might be a slight difference in LAN transfers, but your internet connection isn't fast enough to saturate the available bandwidth.
