Pity is lame.
I don't know. i feel that pity is pretty low.
Recently a friend of mine decided to get into some bad stuff, so I stopped hanging out with him. This kind of broke up the closeness in this one group of friends of mine. I still talk to them, just rarely hang out with them for other reasons also. (aka i can't stand their immature ways and drama).
So anyways. Last night my GF and I go out to eat. And we are waiting and another couple from that group come into the resturant. Being nice I said whats up, and they were kind of confused. So then the whole rest of the group comes in and they all like heeeeeey. I could tell they were very confused that we were there, knowing we were not invited. Another girl asked my GF if we were eating with them and she said no, that we were by ourselfs. So then they ask why don't you eat with us, and we just replied, we werent invited.
So we sit and start eating. Fiqures their table is in sight of ours. Halfway thru eating they say " hey pat, why don't you come to so and so's party tonight @ my house" I responded with maybe.
Funny thing about it is, if I wasnt there, I would have never been invited.
So I;m not madd that I was not invited. But I hate pity. Why feel the need to pity me into to trying to sit with them if i wasnt invited and they ALL know it. And why give me a pity invite when they know damn well they would not have invited me in the first place. Pretty childish.
So what I trying to get out of it is, either
A.) they have something agianst me which is unknown
B.) they just don't like me and my GF anymore
C.) I'm a little bit more mature then them.
I don't know. I won't loose any sleep over it. I have other friends, and all them aren't going in any postivie directions. well maybe one of them.
/end rant

I know people who used to be good friends but we just went out separate ways. I'll still say hey to them if I see them, and invite them out if I am doing something and they happen to be there, but just out of respect, not pity.
