Default Frozen Windshield Washer Fluid....

Ok, its about 9 degrees here in St. Louis and my Windshield Washer Fluid is frozen. I want it all out so I can replace it w/ the De-Icer stuff. What is the best was to warm it up so I can pump it all out?

Thanks

J

rolling boil water...won't damage the plastic but will flash thaw the icer fluid.

my washer fluid is in the front, so i don't have the engine to thaw it out

How about putting it in a garage... or taking it to some place warm like a parking garage to let it melt?

You may have to thaw the lines too. Don't sit there and run the pump (obviously) cause it'll... not like that very much.

Fluid shouldn't freeze. I've been using Rain-X fluid and it's held up pretty well. Once it's thawed out, you might want to swap in some better fluid.
