:chuckles:
A warning has gone out to every public library in Norfolk after an incident with a young girl.
Norfolk City Officials tell us a man, claiming to be a fashion photongrapher, convinced a teenage girl to meet him at a Norfolk library for a photo shoot. But what happened at that photo shoot has city officials and the girl's mother very upset.
Seventeen-year-old Jasmine thought it was weird the photographer told her to wear a sports bra and short skirt for a model shoot. But after checking out the website the so-called fashion photographer gave her, she decided to give it a shot.
She showed up at the Jordan Newby Public Library on Park Avenue, and the man took her into the room he had reserved.
"He told my boyfriend to leave so we could start the orientation," Jasmine remembers.
They were behind closed doors, but on the other side of the door was a library full of people.
"He took a picture of me and then on video he had me jump up and down. He basically had me turning around and bouncing up and down."
Jasmine's mother didn't find out until after the strange photo shoot.
"My daughter is 17 and he has her in a short skirt, jumping and bouncing around trying to say she is going to be a model!"
The city has told the man he is no longer allowed to use their meeting rooms for his photo shoots. Police say at this point, he has not committed a crime.
