Anyone who is familiar with mail-in-rebates.
I have been on hold with Antec for the longest time. So I thought I would ask you guys.
I am trying to send in a mail in rebate. On the rebate for, it says it is for an item with SKU #1234. Problem is that I cant find this SKU# anywhere on the box. The only number I see on the box is the number under the barcode which is not #1234. I want to see if this is what I have to cut from the box in order to get the mail in rebate.
And another thing, there are actually 2 of these barcode numbers on the box, one from each side. I am wondering what stops anyone from sending in 2 separate mail in rebates since you only have to provide a COPY of your receipt. h:

call Antec or the retailer up
the reason you have to wait 6-8 weeks for a rebate is that the rebate company records every submission and verifies them so that people do not receive 2x rebates
