Kicks ass!
if you have a PS2, I highly recommend at least renting this game. Especially if you liked Ico...even though this is way better than Ico.

controls are decent. not the best, but adequate.

 

Wish it was on xbox, I've come to hate the ps2 controller.

 

I'm also enjoying shadow of the colosus right now. I've killed about 6 of them so far. I play it in my spare time so I'm not getting very far very fast.

Agree on the controls issue; they're ok, but could be much better. My only thought is that they may have limited controls, etc. in order to avoid having to load the level when you go too far.

maybe the og but not the S, the s is wayy more comfortable. I just like the way the controller fits in my hand, the ps2 controller just feels kinda small and cramped to me now, plus the buttons don't have enough spring to them. I use to love PS2 but slowly I've come over to the xbox and it's just natural, and the xbox 360 controller is improved even more than the xbox S.

 

I dunno, my hand feels awkward on the xbox controller, i can't say anything about the xbox 360. I guess you really do have big hands or something i have long fingers and my hands fit around the ps2 controller perfectly making it able to hit any buttons that need to be hit at given times, i guess it's natural coming from a SNES controller and what not

 

I beat the game and now I have to play Ico for reasons I cannot say without spoiling the game.

The last colossi is worlds of fun; just getting to him is part of the battle. When I say getting to him, I do not mean actually finding him, but actually getting close to him without being blown to pieces.

 

my preference is the PS2 controller. I like smaller controllers, not cuz i have small hands, but everything is very close to each other.
