I was fortunate to go to UCLA during their winning streak. For the time I was there (1994-1999), we never lost to USC. Since I finished school, we haven't won once. I wasn't going to get my hopes up this year that they would actually win, but I was hoping they'd at least put up a better fight.

 

Normally, I'm not one to get all wrapped up in College Football, nor cross-town rivalries. But I took a break from my homework at about 4:30 last afternoon, to check in on the game.

Based on what I saw, the UCLA defense showed all the efficacy of the Maginot Line. :chuckles:

IF it happens, it won't be for many years. I wouldn't mind seeing Reggie go to the Niners, and play with his old HS teammate Alex Smith. However, even if the Niners get the first pick, I don't think they can afford him. Great future planning by the front office the past few years.
