Default just came back from a job interview

i thought the interview went pretty well. i gave all the right answers and she seemed impressed. question is, does it really take 3 weeks for a background check? its a county job...

what dept and unit?

put it this way
i got interviewed in april and started in sept

my first county job i interviewed in sept and started dec

sheriff and law enforcement or sensitive information dept/units take even longer

oh cool. san diego library dept. i thought they were uber slow. i applied a month ago. finally interviewed today! if everything works out, ill be sorting books and stuff for good pay

Depends on the background checks. Our checks with the DOJ takes like 24-48 hours...and is done via email h:
