Default rant: HP print appliances suck!

jesus!
Im having a problem here where the HP 4250N printers will not collate the papers.

The drivers for that printer (4250n PCL 5 or 6 ) are known to have this problem.
Solution: use 4200N PCL 5e drivers

ok, so since those are the ones that do work, this fricken appliance wont let me add it. See thats one reason why I opted not to go that route.

I love win03 server cause u could use legacy drivers but NOOOOOOOO, management thinks this one would be better.

thanks for listening: whos drinkin tonight?

I used to sell HP printers for a couple years.....I wouldn't own an HP if you paid me to own one.

I like epson, and I use generic ink $19 for 6 carts. As long as u run the print head cleaner once a week or so no clogging and the generic ink is comparable to the epson.

:werd:

I love my Epson inkjet. Thinking about stepping up to a laserjet in the next year because most my prints are b&w anyways.

I pick up the Blax packs for about $40 a set and colour for around $25 for the Epson 1280.

I had the epson 960, but the printhead got clogged cuz I left generic ink in it for like 6 months without using it, must have dried. No cleaning would help.

I bought a lil $80 R200 that does cd's and it works just as well, actually easier to use, plus if it dies I can buy another for $80...the 960 cost me $200 on sale when I got it
