Lub it. 40k though? Hot damn! Whatever though. Thats almost as outrageous as a $5.00 beer at a bar when a 12 pack of Natty Ice cost $4.99 at Kings Liquor! (insert ghetto smile here)

I've got a buddy in NY who is planning on buying the 350 come January or February, so we went and test drove. All they had was an IS250 AWD with the 6 speed auto. Really nice car. Even with the 250, it felt like it had more pickup than the IS300. Probably due to the added cog in the shifter. Handles pretty well, I think it looks sharp, interior materials are pretty high-quality. The navigation system seems to be easier to use and more full-featured than the Acura ones I've played around with. There's suprisingly limited space in the rear, though. Maybe even less than my old '94 4-door Integra.
When you compare the feature list and what you get for your $40k to its primary competition, the BMW 3-series, it becomes a decent value I'd say.

Yes. From a design standpoint, it is gorgeous IMO.
I have yet to test drive one, but I might very consider a lease-return IS350 in a few year's time. :hsdunno:
