War of the Worlds
Who watched this movie?
I watched it last night and think that Steven Spielberg has made one of the most overhyped and horribly executed movies of the year with this one. There were times when the green screen execution was so painfully obvious you couldn't just enjoy it for even entertainment value.
Kind of a bummer, I was expecting more out of it after all the noise that was made about it.

Dude it ended like that because that's how the book ends.
Ya know it's funny usually I pick out cheezy green screen work, like in Star Wars EpII, and laugh at it, but I didn't really find myself doing that with War of the Worlds. Maybe because it was kinda intense. Either that or it happened during the 3 minutes I went out to the bathroom and Tom Cruise goes gangsta on Tim Robbins. h:

Spielburg at this best = Indiana Jones or Schindler's list, not that drivel
