What is a spoon engine? Is it just a JDM engine or what?

No such thing as a spoon engine. They don't make one. They have components for engines, but so do others like Toda, Skunk, Rocket, etc... None of these companies would ever claim to have an engine, just parts for engines...

honda makes the block, so i guess its not 'made by spoon' but this is as close as you're gonna get to a 'spoon engine'

anyway, yeah. spoon doesnt produce the engine block, but i'd call that a 'spoon engine'.

They build an all OEM part engine, more highly toleranced than from Honda, and with a completely balanced rotating assembly.
