Default Barry Bonds is pathetic

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2241953

"Bonds said this fall that he would like to get his playing weight down to around 200, which would mean losing approximately 40 pounds this winter. He was at 185 as a rookie in 1986, but hasn't been close to that in years."

LMFAO. They do roid testing, now Bonds is down to his ROOKIE weight.

: pat on back : I called this back in February.

part of my conspiracy theory. Bonds decided to have this surgery back in what ... March? If he really needed it, it could have been done in October of 04. He could have been ready by April 05 for sure.

With the Giambi roid thing, Bonds ducked out by going under the knife 2 weeks before the regular season.

He also claimed that "he almost died from infection" which kept him out longer. He's a world class athlete. He doesn't live in a hut in the middle of Uganda. :bs:

on top of it ... Bonds was all upperbody mass. If he were out for so long, do you lose 40lbs of pecks and shoulders with a leg injury?

I said the same thing Andrew. There is no way in hell he wasn't juicing and this is all the more evidence to back this up. I am sure he wants to go back down in size when he didn't hit homeruns. Nice try Barry :reechy:

It was just one event after another ... he's doing his best to protect his record.

Will this season be filled with freak injuries? I'm guessing so.

exactamundo. It is all bs. He had the best doctors and the best trainers available. No way in hell was his knee messed up the way he was making it out to be. He did that as a ploy to get small since he had to stop the roids. Now wanting to lose weight is another ploy since he knows he naturally can't keep all that muscle mass on him at the age of 40 and on his naturally smaller frame that he was born with. Steriods changed his body and without them, he is going back to his prior lankey self.
