Help with an Eclipse coil
I realize these are the honda forums but I need help with a freinds mitsubishi. Her cel is telling her that she has a bad "coil circuit". The car is a '97 GS DOHC non-turbo. I think it's a 2.0? The car dies on her sometimes. My experience tells me it's just the coil but is there anything else that is included in the "coil circuit" that it could be before I buy that part for her? Thanks guys.

I had to replace the coil pack on my 95 GS also.
The block was physically the same but the head was different.

You might want to try a Neon forum. The engine from the 2G non-turbo Eclipses were the same ones that powered the Dodge/Plymouth neon.
