is there a way to play my games on the secondary monitor?

you can make your right your primary :dunno:
but i dont want to do that because my left is the lcd tv

With the current technology that you have, I believe only one can be dedicated for gaming/tv (primary). The other usually just ends up either blank or shows Windows... I wouldn't run a game and TV at the same time as things will get pretty hot.

I turn off my other monitor when I am gaming.

you won't usually get the same good performance from a second or third monitor like you would from the primary.

If its a game actually good enough to be playing, it should be taking all your attention. Thus no need for a second monitor.

i just got a 17" hp lcd and hooked it up to my laptop. i use the new lcd for messaging and music mainly. i dont think ill ever go back to one monitor.

my question is though.. will i be able to hook up my lcd tv to my s-video along with having the other monitor as well.

Depending on the game, the 2nd monitor may act differently.

When I play Haro, the 2nd monitor just shows the desktop and I can't move the mouse over to it. However, when I played say Starcraft, the mouse can 'accidently' reach over to the other monitor and when clicked, you will minimize the game and go into Windows. Quite annoying h:
