Default Does anyone know if USPS does this?

I have a small package that I need to mail off. It does not meet the minimum requirements to be mailed First Class. So I want to put it in a plastic envelope so itll meet the minimum requirements. Can I do this with first class? I know I am able to with priority.

Thanks.

I don't usually do USPS as they have no tracking information on the item.

Because I still need to buy the boxes. If they do it, then I buy the small boxes. If they dont allow it, then I buy boxes big enough to ship first class.
