I was sitting here this morning, now 6:30, tryin to get a jump on werk i needed to do here at teh shop, i took my son along cause he wanted to come, I had taken the headlamps off on my 04 accord SiR-t cause i wanted to take them apart and remove the amber lense insert near the HID projector and running lamp, well the case and inside splits into like 6 freakin sections. Anywayi put the back part on the desk, thats the part that houses the HID projector module and capsule and high beam. As i turned my back to get a screwdriver to remove the amber lense frum the other section my son who is 3 picked up the headlamp unity and just drops it to the floor. Cracking the unit between the projectors HID capsule and the high beam, . Is it my fault cause i took my son to werk or should he BE PUNISHED????!!!

You can be mad at your kid, but you cannot punish him for YOU not being more careful by leaving the headlamp in a place where your kid can reach it and also you should know better than to bring your kid to work without providing him something to do or play with (besides your car parts
).
).
A 3 year old is a little young to bring into a non-office type workplace without constant (by his side) supervision.
There are a lot of dangerous things at an auto shop they he could get injured from and toxic chemicals he could injest.
I personally think taking his to work was il advised.

I set the HID cluster down for a sec, he was by my side, just swiveled to the left for a sec is all it took, kids need to kno not to touch when theve been told, how are they gonna learn? Wow its past 3 am, so ill wrap this up, i never leave him in the shop, but the office maybe, Kids need discipline and lots of it to mold them for later years.Besides we dont have anythin hazerdous here or harmful, besides the parts boiler, propane tanks, spray cleaners , pnematic pressus, just teh usual.
