Default ipod nano vs. ipod video

with my berfday comin' up i'm looking into getting an ipod.

nano pros: def. style points, small, available in black, not many people around here have one.
nano cons: looks like it could snap easily, only 2 or 4 gigs

video pros: 30gigs, video, dont think anyone has one in my school
video cons: kinda bulky

p.s. what kind of video files can it play?

I'd rather get a larger regular iPod instead of the video. The video would be sweet but not worth alot of extra money, IMO.

I'd never own an MP3 player with more than a gig or two. So I voted Nano. But if you're the type of person that wants to carry around millions of worthless songs that you probably don't listen to anyway than I say go for it.

I chose neither since there isn't an option for 4 gig nano. I myself own a 4 gig nano and couldn't be happier with it.
