Default F'n Sweet! Monday is off to a great start!

It's dark, gloomy, and raining cats and dogs so I decided to drive the 240 in to work. After about 20-30min into my commute the car starts to act a little weird, the dash lights seemed a bit dim, and my windshield wipers were running extremely slow even on the highest selection. I did notice the battery light on the dash was lit up but very dim. I don't think too much of it and continue driving in and not even 2 miles before my exit I lose power and begin to pull off the highway.

One of the Department of Transportation assistance vehicles was there like 3 minutes later and we tried to jump it and it worked. So I hop back in and make it down another mile then it decided to break down again. I waited for another assistance vehicle and we charged it up a good 5 minute while getting soaked in the rain and watching out for crazy drivers.

I wanted to make it to the local auto parts store but I knew it wouldn't make it so I just drove to my old office (moved into the new building now) and just as I was parking it died again.

I guess I'll wait till the coworker arrives and see if he can take me out and get another battery for sh1ts and giggles. The one in the car looks a little old and corroded. At least this way I can have them test it out before I have it towed to get another alternator. Which I have a bad feeling thats where the problem is.

It's in the process of being towed from my other office. Hopefully I won't get raped on parts/labor.
