I have full coverage thru Allstate on both my Civic and Cherokee. It's about $190 a month due to Michigan's "no fault insurance" BS.

I use progressive direct. I skipped the middle man and got the best rates. Here's how it breaks down. I have an '03 Subi Impreza 2.5 with full coverage and my '91 hatchy with liability only for $170. I think I have one more ticket to drop and I'm almost 25 so things are lookin good

Full coverage on the RSX-s and PL & PD on the '89 E30, Michigan sticks us with a fee of 140 per vehicle for lawsuit protection (I thought that's what the insurance was supposed to cover, but the INSURANCE Companies cried to the state that they needed that to protect their profits so they got it). I have AAA and have to carry higher liabilities because of having a lease.

AAA it isn't the cheapest out there but they have good service.
325 a year including MI's fee for the E30
1405 for the RSX-s including MI's fee and they have to use OEM parts for repairs. 250 deductible.

I could probably get a better rate if we used my wife's name on the policy since she has a better credit rating, but the Governor is trying to get the Legislature to vote to ban using credit scores for insurance purposes. It seems that insurance companies think that people with bad scores tend to use their insurance more??? I thought that's what you bought it for anyway, to use in case of an accident.

How old are you? Many posters with lower rates in this thread are older and/or have longer established driving records.
