what kind of SD memory would you guys suggest for use in the Canon SD400... my sister is looking at a 512 card and i'm wondering whats the best brand to get that wont die from poor construction

kingston 512 is good and cheap. buy.com sells it for under $20 occasionally

if you like spending extra money for no other reason than you got a lot of it, get sandisk ultra ii.

i have both. they both work. only difference is the kingston can't handle unlimited video capture at full res and max. also it can't handle burst mode of 2.5fps for too long. the sandisk swallows all that data like a porn star.

1GB sandisk or lexar...if she is going to take alot of pics or if this camera has the video feature to it. duracell and promaster rechargeable batteries r helpful.. just recharge them at night and u r good to go..im not familiar with the sd400.. sorry if this isnt helpful..
