I'm about to register for new classes during Jan term(It lasts a month)
Choice 1: Poe
Question: Were Edgar Allan Poe's stories, poems, and essays spooky, funny, puzzling, parodies, critical, ludicrous, unreliable, philosophical, practical jokes, or serious? Answer: Yes. We'll read them all and enjoy every scary, funny, satiric moment. Course is designed both for newcomers to Poe and English Majors.

Choice 2: American Film

Introduction to basic cinema terms, history of the U.S. film industry. Discussion of values cinema. Ten evening screenings. Film fee.

I think I might go with Poe.
Film studies. Essays, reviews, you have to watch the movies at night, not in class.

Oh. I think Poe gets rid of an English credit. Film is for Art. I'm in band so I don't need to worry about Art credits.
So I think I'm going to go for Poe. I still want to hear what you guys think though.
