Too bad I wasn't alive when AT&T came out..I could have bought lots of shares and I'd be rolling in the dough now.

my dad still kicks himself about not buying Qualcomm stock back before it had originally split, then split a bunch of times. Sure.. if he had gone with his instincts and bought it, he'd be a multi-millionaire, retired, and I'd be rocking a porsche 911, but you live and learn h:

i first bought HANS October 04 but sold it too early because i was playing on borrowed funds.

jumped back in February 05 at $19 and been accumulating shares ever since. started with just 120 shares, held as many as 633 at one point. now holding 300 shares and plenty of cash, waiting for a pullback. i'm up about $13k just this month.

funny thing is i was temping at google during the ipo last summer. visitors could've mistaken our parking lot for an AMG dealership.

here's why: stock prospecting is retarded. real investors know that dollar/cost averaging is the only reliable way to make money in the maket.

I have stock in BP Amaco, it's been doing well. I remember when it split when they merged with BP (british pertrolium) and while I had over a thousand shares the value went down. Now they have gone up quite a bit. I've bought 3 cars by selling a few shares. When I bought my Accord I walked in and gave the dealer $20k in cash, it was cool. I've put the rest of my future dividens into an IRA and they have estemated that I sould have over 1mil. by the time I'm 45 or so.
