Like go to the wrecker, yank a shitton of ECU's outta all the hondas/acuras then proceed to sell. My gf's dad was saying thats what a lot of people do, same with vtec heads...etc.

I did try :P Just wondering if anyone has ever thought of this/actually done it. I don't think I'm the only one who thinks going to the wrecker is fun :O

My roommate used to do that...go to the junkyard and buy some, then chip em and sell em...it's profitable if you know what you're doing, but most of the time you'll pay decent cash for an ECU at a junkyard.

Hmm interesting. Yeah you're right since most junkyards know the value of those. At our local one though, sometimes they have. 1/2 price off everything days, or, everything you can wheel out for 50 bucks. I shud look into that, though. Thanks

Anything you can wheel out for 50? Geez... Thats sweet. I'd head over there in a minute, grab headlights for various cars and airbags, if they haven't gone off.
