deep sea fishing
so how did it go?
Sea sickness was just on Mythbusters on Wednesday night
Pretty funny of course. Ginger pills worked for both of the guys to prevent sea sickness.

I went deep sea fishing off Half Moon Bay (south of san francisco). I took 1 dramamine (dosage is 1-2) and I should've taken two, plus ginger, plus wrist bands.
NorCal coast water is rough. Swells were about 15-20 feet (when the boat was at the bottom of a wave, the high crest of the wave was HIGHER than our heads as we stood at the top of the deck).
Everyone on the boat was yakking bigtime. I wish I had brought bottled water cuz after everyone has to prepare your own bait (frozen squid) your hands reek of the stuff. Combine that with seasickness and it yak city.
And it's cold, so wear long pants and a windbreaker.

windproof jacket, good shoes or boots, wool socks. I've never had a problem with sea sickness, but I've heard ginger tablets and dramamine both do the trick nicely.

i broke my hand on said trip!! I slipped and punched one of the rails on my way down so I broke my hand in three places, this of course cut the fishing time by about 80% becausewe had hust got there so we had to go back. the 30 minuteswe were there we fished rock cod with no bait they were about 10=20 feet below the boat the deptyh I believe was 190 ft. everyone caught at least 6 fish about 1-2 ft. in lenght one dude caught a link cod about 3 ft. it was crazy once you let the line down they were biting like crazy, unfortunatly I slipped and broke my hand so the fishing trip was cut short some of my co-workers were kinda dissappointed but nothign I could really do about it
