but thats what u expect from a projector. and because im projecting over 100" screen it doesnt help it either.

projectors are good for occaisonal use... like if you have an actual 'home theater' room in your house where it is only used to watch movies.. you shouldnt use it like a TV that is on constantly.
chances are that when the lamp does die it'll be so far in the future that its not worth replacing and you'll end up buying another better projector
plus, since you can only use it in the dark or if you have a completely blacked out room it'll last a while
