Uhhh who cares :dunno: Unless you're trying to beat the guy beside you to the end, I much rather go for the best ET.

Maybe that's just how those crazy powerful 2.4 liter Accord owners drive. h:

Most people go to a dual strip drag strip to test their own car's potential, not race the person next to them.

that happened to me once...i staged against my friend's geo metro,..it was his beater and we talked him into bringing her out to see what she ran (i was gonna install nitrous on it for him but he refused because it was indeed his beater and he didnt want to blow it up),...anyways im on full slicks,...full cage,...everything,..staging up against this little blue metro,...i hit the two step and then BAM i snap an axle,..my buddy runs down the track to click off a high 19 second pass,...the crowd was going nuts,...he still wont let me live it down :happysad:

From the before post, yeah I guess they wouldn't lose time with a bad reaction, but IMHO it's pretty embarrassing nonetheless. I guess if they were only running to "test" their car that would be different. That's not nearly as fun though.

so sitting at the tree to concentrate on the launch just so you can bust out a badass launch and run lets say a 10 second quarter mile is not nearly as fun huh?
