i grew up in North Central Illinois. each (short) winter, we got maybe 30" of snow but along the interstate and around most fields, there was snow fencing to keep the drifting down.
here in NY, we get around 150" each winter. snow fences are unheard of. :dunno: seems a little weird to me...
because IL has snow fences when they dont get shit for snow? nice shot :db: maybe cuz NY'ers arent afraid to pummel a snow drift when it interferes with their path of travel.
