I had a preorder for the xbox 360 @ eb games but they told me that i am unable to get mine until 2-3 weeks after the initial launch date.

Im gonna just cancel my preorder and go to the store and pick it up. I know best buy is going to have it but my questions is can i buy the $399.99 one and not have to worry about buying the games and all that...also are they going to be opening early for them as well. I also no circuit shitty is going to have them for sale on friday online...

Monitor eBay ... if they're going for $500+ before xmas, consider this like a stock option. You're locked in for a set amount knowing it's worth more.

I did this with the PS2. I got one from Gamestop.com and EB.com ... AND slept on the curb of a Target. I unloaded these for uber profit right before xmas.

i work at best buy. we're only getting 60 of em.

other places like EB games and gamestop are only getting like 10-20 tops.

 

So you saying just hold on to that pre-order and go to lets say best buy and buy one and then use the best buy one for personal use and when i pick up the other one from EB then unload that on ebay FTW

1. keep the EB pre-order
2. buy the Best Buy one
3. monitor eBay
4. purchase the EB pre-order
5. make eBay decision
5a. sell
5b. return unopened 360 to either store.

It's a fool proof way to get cash.

 

im sure my store will open early cuz we're a 'buzz' store. (we get all the latest and greatest stuff). i dunno about other stores.. and as far as i know you can buy whatever the fuck you want with it.
