Default Domestic guys answer me this...

I am going to do a T5 conversion in my mustang. I was wondering if I could use a T5 out of a Chevrolet or is the bellhousing bolt pattern different than that of a T5 of a Ford?

You are right. Please direct me to a good Mustang or Chevy board and I will do just that. I could not find any good boards that would give me an answer in less that 2 days.

If the bellhousings were different, couldn't you just bolt up the correct bellhousing?

the bellhousings are different, but as dubcac pointed out, all it takes is the proper bellhousing....what motor are you trying to bolt it to, the 4.6 or the 5.0?

which version of the T5 are you trying to run? and if it came out of a chevy it will need a different bell housing guaranteed.
