if you're not a gamer then you wont like the G15. One thing I want to point out is the split raised keyboards, as it turns out is not very ergonomic.

i i could naver quite get typing down on them and my wrists always hurt afterwards.

It's freakin fast. I get at least 60 fps in F.E.A.R. at 1024x768, all options turned to max except for AA (2x), AF(2x) and soft shadows off. In intese firefights with like 5 enemies at once, I've seen it dip to 40
h:I can't wait to get the new RAM into it as well

But I'm not leaving the mac camp for good... I'm just waiting for the intel powerbooks, then I'll buy a new mac

The only thing that worries me is that I have rounded IDE cables, and the DVD-R drive is on a 24" cable, both of which conditions violate ATA spec. While they're twisted pair (each data is twisted with a grounded cable) and shielded, I dunno if I'll see corruption or not
