okay so my friend wants to go look at a 318ti. it has like 86k and i think he said 3700 obo. he has nearly zero mechanical knowledge. he might want me to come along but my BMW knowledge is limited (except that they all catch on fire) h:

so what should he/we look for when we go look at this car?

 

it's a pos, tell him to stay away.

 

i remember i was a sophomore in high school who just started driving to school. this spoiled girl had a 318ti. she would rip that thing out of the parking lot after school. anyway, one day i came out walking to my car and saw she plowed it into another person's car. i laughed, then jumped into my crappy celica and drove off.


moral of the story: unless your friend is a girl, the 318ti should not be considered.
