Just thought I'd let you guys know that if you want to steal my car you'll have to be ready to clean up the blood from your ears

This fucker is loud and with 2 backup batteries good luck trying to keep it from going off.

I look out whenever it goes off cause my car is always parked right out side my window. Plus the keychain will go off too so if I'm within like 1/4 or 1/2 mile or something I will hear that if for some reason I can't hear the alarm. So even if you have ear protection you will have to be quick enough to out run my two pittbulls (assuming I'm at home)

I don't see the point in most alarms. You hear an alarm go off and what do you think? "Poor bastard frogot to unarm his alarm" Not "Someone is trying to steal that car!!!!"

If my keychain is vibrating and beeping I will know it's mine. Plus I look out whenever I hear one even if it's not mine cause I like to think the neighbors do the same for me (even if they don't).

hmmm its true people do ignore alarms, but if i'm within earshot of my alarm going off, you can bet that i'm going to go outside and check my car. it does more than enough for me for the peace of mind. all you alarm skeptics can say "hey they can just disconnect the battery so the sirens wont go off", but if the owner has a 2-way alarm, like the poster of the this thread, it will still alert him of his alarm going off. towing is something not so easily avoided, but there tilt sensors to set off your alarm for this also...
