Riots in France ... :wtf:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe...ots/index.html
"PARIS, France (CNN) -- Rioting erupted for an eighth straight night in the impoverished suburbs of Paris, with angry youths setting fire to a school, a bus depot, three warehouses and hundreds of vehicles."
:wtf:
I bet berets and poodles are flying over there. :run:

"Gangs of youths have gone on the rampage since October 27, when two teenagers were electrocuted in a tough, low-income suburb north of Paris as they hid in an electrical sub-station to flee a police identity check."
...
Those responsible are groups of young Muslim men, the sons of families from France's former Arab and African colonial territories, who have said in interviews that they are protesting economic misery, racial discrimination and provocative policing.

Rioting among young men of North African and black African origin -- mostly locally born citizens who feel cheated by France's official promises of liberty, equality and fraternity -- began last week after two teenagers of African origin died while fleeing the police.

But the French have been kissing the Muslim World's ass for decades, and they have been letting these poor displaced folks come to their country, give them free healthcare, welfare cash and inexpensive places to live. Does this mean that appeasement does not work?
There was a time(when my family moved here) when you were welcome to come to the US from anywhere, provided you had a job lined up, or people/family who would support you until you got one. This is of course no longer the case. If the US does not wake up, we are liable to see similar things go down here.
