Default fixing brake lines

cooworker brought in her car to be fixed, brake lines....roughly $300usd, good deal? 4 hours labour (!)

Which lines exactly? The ones from the MC or the ones straight on the calipers?

iI’m not sure just know it was leaking oil and affected the stopping ability

That sounds about right for the two or three rubber hardline-to-caliper hoses, figure one hour each (paid hour, not real hour) to replace and bleed, plus parts.

I don't know how much the under car hardline is to replace. Maybe four hours for just that, plus parts.

More details required, dealer or not, which line, and price of labour per hour.

Well she got it fixed but I had to drive here there after work when I was already going to leave two hours early.
