Ok, not sure where exactly to post this... I've got two suggestions for the HAN forum though...

1. Add a 'General/Techinal' section, where there would be boards for technical issues with the site or forum, as well as a general, 'Talk about anything' forum.

2. Add a board for people to post designs of cars they've made. Another side, GMInsideNews.com, has a section like that: http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=5 It's called 'Readers Talents' it'd be a good way for people to show off designs they've made, good or bad in skill and ideas, rather they do it by hand or on the computer. And a place for people to talk about those designs, request designs, etc.

 

you're in teh talk about anything forum, technical forums are model based and up top, i really dont know what you're asking for here but it sounds like you havent sepent much time here at all?

 

What I meant by tech is as far as the forum/website goes. If you're having a problem with, say, editing your sig, I'd feel awkward posting for help in a section about Accords or Civics.

 

I think the basement is just fine for showing off your ideas/designs. If there were a forum dedicated just to that, it would be totally dead.

Although I am not an administrator, I will attempt to address your suggestions.

I would think that we already have such forums, and they are titled appropriately:

Tech Forums - Which include a number of sub-topics.

and

Open Forums - Which include an anything forum (which you are currently in).

I think we could encompass that in our "appearance" forum.
