What flow sites/services actually deliver flowers fresh and not in a box? Seems like most have gone to the shipping them via box instead of hand delivery.

i know 1800flowers.com or whatever delivers theirs fresh, not in a box. i remember for my gf's 20th i sent her a dozen surprise roses and they were delivered fresh and in a vase. she took pictures of them and showed me later. they looked great. but then again, thats what i paid for. like $50+.

they give orders to local florists and they deliver that mess.

They used to deliver in a box, but it was a vase. I am sure if you pay for flowers in a vase, then they will deliver as such

that is odd..what do the florists do about funerals? most of those orders r in vases and upright on strays..not a good way to do business, box only. sort of lazy..try a smaller local florist or grocery in yours or her area.. they may be inclined to use more options..
