well i dont buy into the beefs between rappers or other celebrities, i buy what i like... but i can say im not much of a 50 cent fan.... some of his stuff is okay but you wont find me leafin through his cds at best buy... but i think there are probably a couple reasons he pulled kanye out.... first cuz kanye is the one whose statements were most publicized and second because i believe that journalists like to play up the beefs because it makes a nice public buzz... i havent heard anybody say anything as "strong" against george bush as Kanye did....

i didnt know Kanye's fame had anything to do with 50 cent.... on a sidenote, what is that about (you can PM me that if you want to keep that out of the thread for ontopic sakes)

 

:dunno: everybody on the left of center stage seemed to raise kanye west on their shoulders and celebrate his very name for speaking out against gwb on national live tv.... i just think its nice that somebody with some public image spoke up...

 

It didnt but in 50's mind it does. You know how when 50 came out his gimmick was getting shot and all that stuff. Then later 50 says that the reason Kanye is famous now is because he came out with Through the wire; basically trynna join the i got hurt so now i can use it to make millions kick. So basically he is saying that without 50 cent...there would be no Kanye. I STRONGLY disagree. He came out waaaaaaaaay before 50 did. He did the This Cant Be Life track off of i think the Dynasty Album...which came out waaaaaaaaay before 50 hit the mainstream scene. But to keep this post on track. I just feel that 50 is just finding ways to take shots at Kanye. Just like later hes going to find ways to take shots at Samuel L Jackson since those 2 are beefin

 

i dont agree with kanye and i dislike 50 cent. kanye said what he said and i think 50 is just saying something about it to be in the news.. it was on fuckin cnn. plus he waited like a month or however long it has been to say it. if he really wanted to be taken seriously, he shouldve said something about it right after it happened

 

i doubt he ordered a press conference just for this... i have a feeling it came up in an interview and a certain few statements got highlighted for the sake of a journalist getting their name out a little bit more.... that tends to be how these things happen.
