i think the new ecripse is ugly, and that car isn't an exception. Its kinda neat that they made it a lancer underneath, but the lancer looks better, IMO, so why not just take a picture of a lancer and call that a cool mitsubishi?

3000gt and stealths are not DSMs. The engine and tranny of those cars were built by mitsubishi. THe only thing that dodge did was design/imitate the body of the stealth after the 3000gt A mitsubishi 3000gt has only mitsubishi parts, and were not influenced whatsoever by dodge.

Talon and Eclipses are DSMs. Their engines and trannies were built by Diamond Star Motors, which was a co-op of mitsubishi and dodge, meaning that both of the two companies designed it.
just to clarify. dodge did not build those cars, mitsubishi did. this is not uncommon for this to happen(honda passport and acura slx both made by isuzu). one car company builds the car for another but the only difference is decals. so keep in mind that dodge did not design imitate the body - why would they do that and spend all that money when they can get the same thing from the ppl they are getting the engine from?

They build Mazda Tributes at the Ford plant down the street from me. And I get shit for driving a Honda built in north america! I'm the one laughing with 427,000 miles on the little civic.
