I grew up in Marina Del Ray, and Santa Monica. And spent some time in Lancaster about 6 yrs ago. I've never really lived in the larger populated areas in CA. It would be cool to make it to some of the meets down there.

houses are in mid 600k range now, depending where you live and how big/condition of house. Nice 1500+sqft house in ok area is around 700k
