but we bought candy just the same.

rule of thumb when buying candy for trick-or-treaters, buy the shit you want to eat
It's like that here too. We are far away from a lot of other houses so it isn't worth the walk to kids these days. We usually get the few little kids that live on the block and that's it. And that rule of thumb is key

those use to be some of the best places to go. Hit many places in such a short time. When we were older we'd go and sometimes get beers since they didn't have candy and didn't want us to fuck with them :reechy:

heh, I put on my sign language (f*ck you) shirt, then decided to wear a different one. I don't think parents would appreciate me handing out candy tonight. h:

thats pretty good idea. but not if you lived where i lived. we used to go to those houses, and when we saw that and some ass for kids beat us to taking candy and there was nothing left we would always leave a nice surprise for the owner of the house...ie eggs, shaving cream, etc. well thats just where i lived.

uhh, what the hell are you talking about? His cousins are a lot younger that we are. They'll go trick or treating for a bit with friends. My friend and I will be at his house having a few beers, watching a flick and handing out candy.

Not sure where the whole "surprise" scenario comes in??

Anyhow, I'm not opposed to beating down stupid teenagers (the ones who do pull this crap). :dunno:

The 8 kids that showed up here got hooked up.

I held out the bag and just said take a few and let em have at it for like 3 or 4 handfuls.
