It's like that here too. We are far away from a lot of other houses so it isn't worth the walk to kids these days. We usually get the few little kids that live on the block and that's it. And that rule of thumb is key

heh, I put on my sign language (f*ck you) shirt, then decided to wear a different one. I don't think parents would appreciate me handing out candy tonight.

thats pretty good idea. but not if you lived where i lived. we used to go to those houses, and when we saw that and some ass for kids beat us to taking candy and there was nothing left we would always leave a nice surprise for the owner of the house...ie eggs, shaving cream, etc. well thats just where i lived.
