hey i was just in manhattan nyc and i had my psp with me so i was thinking let see if i find some wifi spot that i can use so i was able to find 15 internet connection and alot of them had no security at all so i was able to browse the internet at a good speed, I had a 50% signal. pretty cool stuff

i know the new firmware lets you surf the internet.
how capable is it?
is it worth getting if you just use it for that purpose?

 

I don't know but I can't wait to try it. I've been on HAN a few times with a PDA and that wasn't too bad. Just expect posting to be kind of combersome. The rumor is that there will be small keyboards that you can get for the PSP in the near future. So then using the PSP for surfing might be a decent option. As long as you expect it to be a little slower than a laptop.

The best part about it is you can stuff it in your cargo pocket if you have a small enough case when you're out and about instead of lugging around and setting up your laptop, at say a coffee shop or resturant that has wireless.

 

the keyboard is out and is only $19 made by who else the greatest company Logitech. the keyboard is very small perfect for the psp.
n front of the building i work n manhattan i found a huge number of none secure wifi connections, k now i need someone to play a game against over the internet cool stuff. ohhhhhh i cant wait for . I need a game. Thinking about Dynasty Warrior's or GTA. Heard GTA was like GTAIII.

 

You guys might want to stop by your local Target. Some stores have PSP games on clearance and a lot of them are selling for less than 15 bucks. Again, not all stores are doing this, but some of you guys might get lucky.
