will US bank moneyorder be ok for canada and whats the safest way to send money.

Paypal would probobly be the easiest and safest.

sending a money order has 2 huge faults.

1. international mail
2. untrackable payment method

I'm not a huge paypal fan myself, but ...
1. fastest method of payment
2. trackable payment method
3. chance of lost payment, close to 0%.
