Default Panic jump while sleeping? Anyone?

So last night around 3am, I remembered dreaming about being attacked by someone. Then I remember shaking and there was that split second where I thought it was real and I shook violently in my sleep and awoke in a tremble, but scared out of my mind. Its was worse than the type of dream where you think you missed a step and you awake in a jolt. I was scared for real. Then I had to :wtcslap: myself in order to gain my bearings.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I get the occasional "falling dream". The craziest feeling is sleep paralysis. I got that once and thought I was dead.

Woke up at like 3am at my gf's house at the time with her next to me. My eyes were wide open and I could blink but couldn't move any other muscle in my body. Couldn't talk or anything. That was some crazy sh1t.

I believe we had a thread about this once before. Just search for sleep paralysis or incubus.

That used to happen a lot after my deployment, but it went away after a couple months.

In highschool, I fell asleep on my desk ... I was dreaming I was playing basketball. I stole the ball, created a 3 on 1 fast break, ran down court, and dished to an open player.

In reality, I shoved all my books right off my desk at mach 10.
