i took a power nap, woke up, and my phone service was suspended...again (for what reason i have no idea). so my sister's friend IMs my other account saying that my mom is in the hospital with a broken hip.

i want to get home, but i'm in a strangle-hold with this work that is due tomorrow and i have a presentation on friday that needs me here thursday as well.

i'm thinking of just emailing my profs, explaining the situation and leaving and worrying about it when i get back.

Email em, and if you have phone numbers, hit up a pay phone and call em. I mean, yer mom broke her hip. That easily qualifies as a family emergency.

okay well. she's doing fine.

her hip is broken in 3 places and she'll be going into surgery later today to have pins inserted. she's gonna be off her feet for quite a while. her neighbor's dog jumped up (big dog) and knocked her over.
