bwaaahahahahaha! i would never let a friend "borrow" my car. it's been asked numerous times and i just respond with firm, singular "no" and that is that.

if anyone remembers my roommate-from-hell last year, he approached me and asked if he and his friends could borrow my jeep to get "groceries." i knew "groceries" meant drugs of sorts and i was like "dude, you're probably high and probably going to get more drugs - no, and don't ask again because i will just keep saying 'no'." then he proceeds to say "this is bullshit" and i then reply "why don't you have your car up here? i think it's because your parents don't trust you - i certainly don't trust you"

nobody can borrow my car except two of my best friends, and neither of them would want to drive it cuz they say driving a lowered car is a headache and they'd be too worried about breaking my car.

as far as letting some of my friends drive it and take it for a spin or if im too drunk or something, theres a couple that i wouldnt care if they drove.

 

or you could just give my teg a loving home and save me from ever having to answer that "can i borrow your teg" question again. instead it will be "can i borrow your Z"

I hate it when other people drive my car. My sister had to go get more film for a play and she didn't have her car so she just left and took my car without even asking!! So I made a huge deal about how shes never let me drive her car. My parents made her take the key off her keychain and give it to them. When I get my rex, ain't nobody going to be driving that except mechanics and they better not be driving it hard otherwise they'll be eating their balls for the next week.

yeah i am way to paranoid about my car to let anyone get their paws on it, you are not a bad friend and if you have already given him a 2 chances no way man, and by the way how did he manage to roll the explorer 3 TIMES! it wasnt his fault i bet

 

You are totally within your rights to deny him use of the car.
He screwed you over twice; that's two times too many.

i remember shortly after i got my mr2 i would wake up weekend mornings and see it was parked differently in the driveway, meaning it was driven by my father. i can only imagine how he was driving it...sending it into boost while cold, or (prior to turbo timer) shutting it off as soon as parked...

 

story goes that there was a deer involved (isnt there always ) but anyway he managed to avoid the first one but the 2nd one he hit the brakes, broke the ass end loose (it was wet) and rolled 2 times on the road, once in the ditch.

lets tell my version: he forgot he wasnt driving his exes tiburon (like thats much better than the explorer :reechy: ) he was going too fast, like always..... came to a curve too fast, like always... probably hit the brakes like an amateur, sent it into a spin, couldnt recover, and tossed his shit all over the road and into the ditch. thats my guess.
