Mos def, Jay-z, Tupac, Eminem before he got all political, Big daddy kane, Big Pun, Common, Lloyd banks... I like g-unit, but they have become very commercial and are recycling their melodies.


Best of all time is Jigga, I don't care what your arguement is, Jay can hold his own against anyone. The man went from nothing to CEO on his skill.

i cant believe you put lloyd banks in with mos def, common, jay-z, pun and whoever else you listed.

 

They all have different reasons why they are there.

Mos Def, Common-conscious and ill flows
Jay-z-ill flow, freestyle, respect
lloyd banks-has a sick way with metaphors and punch line's, smooth delivery
Big Pun- how can you not list him "Dead in the middle of Little Italy little did we know
that we riddled some middlemen who didn't do diddily" Pun is sick and very underrated
Big daddy cane-started the whole compound syllable thing
Tupac-could go into the studio with nothing and do an album in 1 day
Eminem-crazy freestyle talent
