Funny, I didn't think there was a shifter in the air to the left of the cart...

He would like raise his hand up into the air on his left. Maybe waving to cars, thanking them or something?

I think he's raising his left hand to check the camera. I don't know how fast they are but I think they can break 100mph and have seen videos of them beating sport cars in a drag race.
