I figure at least one of you bishes has seen it... Not expecting much, was it at least worth the watch?

Haven't seen it; don't plan to, frankly.

I was surprised by how long it took for anyone to produce a film for the game.
By my math, it's been more than a decade since the original release.

I don't think I'll ever see a Dwayne Johnson movie in the theater.

 

I think they waited so that all the kids that loved the game would be old enough to see the movie h:

 

FPS movie for the lose.

 

The first 20 minutes are boring as hell. Then it picks up REALLY fast. If you like to sit back and have fun watching a move it's good. But if you're one of those pseudo-critical types that are anal about every aspect of a movie, you won't enjoy it. There's a lot of blood and body parts. There's some comedy thrown around in there to. The best part I thought is when it goes into FPS for like 5 minutes at the very end of the movie. I have no clue what all the monsters were about though. All I've ever played was original doom with the giant red balls with one eye and the evil goats....mmm original doom. But yea it's a fun movie, but it won't be getting any oscars.

 

Yeah, Halo will suck too.

 

i was refering to the end where they put the camera in FPS view. completely gay.

not to mention, anything starring "the rock" is destined for failure.
