I don't think HALO will suck too bad, considering they signed up Peter Jackson as executive producer, Fox and Universal both signed up for the project, Microsoft's multi-million dollar movie budget, and they're looking for an oscar winning director to lead the movie. (Ridley Scott was interested)

Yeah, if you go in there critiquing every movie about dialouge and plot..........then you will find it to be a horrible movie. If you just want to be entertained by some action, then it will be a good choice to go see.

I thought it was good for what it was. Remember, this is a movie about a shooter game. Not supposed to win any best drama or anything. Just to entertain you, which I think it does. Made me jump a few times. The Rock, not a great actor, but did well for his part. This movie won't make you think and ponder life or give you that wholesome feeling at the end or anything, but it wasn't supposed to either.

The Rundown and Walking Tall were both great.

There you go! I tell this to people all the time. Just because someone makes a movie doesn't mean they are trying to get an Oscar out of it. You need to let the movie take you with it. I remember watching House of Flying Daggers and this one dude a few rows back continuously made fun of the wire work and the fight choreography, saying "that's physically impossible" and "yeah right". I felt sorry for him.
